OMG. Today is finally here. It feels like SO LONG since my last trip.
Last night there was some kind of power/heat/water outage in my building. But thank God it was remedied overnight so I can have a hot shower before my long trip.
Here is my itinerary to get there:

Since I only have two hours to get from Jakarta International to Jakarta Domestic, I have a private escort to get me to where I need to go. It is a lot but I would rather go straight through than claim bags, unpack, spend the night in a hotel, pack and recheck.
I am wearing compression socks this trip. I will also try to move around more.
As usual, I’m a little worried about anything that might go wrong… but I will deal with it when it comes. And this is the first time I am traveling with Global Entry. I am excited about that!
I have a new off the rack Henderson 5mm wetsuit. I also bit the bullet and had a custom one made by Sea Gods in Bali. It is going to be shipped to the resort. I am reminded that I will be a cork in these new wetsuits. I am not sure if I will even bring my camera on the first dive. It might be too much new at once. Oh yeah, and of course the camera is also new. Gah! I bought an Olympus OM-1 Mark II with a Nauticam housing (complete with a vacuum system). I also have new strobes/spotter lights. Even a snoot. I should have plenty of challenges on this trip.
I did practice a little bit in my pool this summer. Here is my favorite shot:
This is the third time I’ve made this trip over the Thanksgiving timeframe and the fourth time I’ve been at Alami Alor. It’s the 11th time I’ve been to Indonesia. I still cannot speak the language.
