I just had to share this ridiculous nudibranch mention in the article: 30 Most Terrifying Ocean Photos - Not For The Faint-hearted.

A penchant for flesh? Really? Maybe certain species have a penchant for other nudibranch flesh...

In August, I did a trip to Roatan, Honduras with the family. I dove every day, but Megan/Mae/Molly, Kimber/Tim/Jack were newer divers and balanced their dive days with some other island fun. Here is the whole crew:
I searched those reefs high and low for slugs. I found three species:
1 - Elysia crispata
2 - Chelidonura hirundinina
3 - Stylocheilus striatus
I did 18 dives with West Bay Divers bringing my total up to 2102 lifetime dives.
This Elysia made the news with its incredible ability to detach its head from the rest of its body and then... not only survive but grow a new body!
David Mullins has started writing little stories about nudibranch on his site called NudiNotes. So cool!
I came across this post showing beautiful drawings of Nudis and Slugs drawn by a Japanese artist in the early 1900s.

Well, I've been working on this for a while. I finally launched my Etsy Store called ChiUrbanMermaid!
https://www.etsy.com/shop/ChiUrbanMermaid
I am creating cross stitch patterns from my underwater photographs. Really, just for my own entertainment. Superfun!
But I figured since I have them and it's not that hard to create and offer PDFs, I'd offer them to others.
I launched with five items. We will see what happens...
